Kramer Plateauweg is only a few steps away, as is its nature trail. The overwhelming scenic beauty, surrounded by the imposing mountain ranges, offers many opportunities for recreation. The picturesque lakes are good for swimming and relaxing, and the historical castles of the famous King Ludwig II give the impression of an ancient magical fairyland.
Winter in the Loisach-Valley means winter holidays and recreation as well as winter romance. Fantastic downhill runs like the famous Kandahar or quiet cross-country skiing are possible. Friends of nature can discover the winter landscape by guided snow-shoe tours. Children can also build snowmen!

By car:
- Take the A95 from Munich to the end of the motorway.
- Follow the B2 through Oberau.
- After the Farchant tunnel, take the Fernpass-Reute-Grainau via the B23 motorway route to Garmisch.
- 1 km after the sign for Garmisch, with an AGIP petrol station on the left hand side, proceed for 300 metres at the next traffic signal.
- Turn right onto the Loisachstraße (hotel is at 100 metres).
