Ca' Bauta is situated a few steps from Campo SS. Giovanni e Paolo, which, with it's Renaissance façade of Scoula Grande of S. Marco, is one of the most spectacular places in Venice. The house where Giacomo Casanova lived with his favourite mistress, Marcolina, is located in Barbaria delle Tole, also just a few meters from our hotel.

FROM RAILWAY STATION/PIAZZALE ROMA you have the following solutions:
• By water bus - The best solution:
Take the waterbus LINE 52 and get off at “OSPEDALE” stop (30 minutes travelling time, approximately), then, turn left, walk along the pier up to the end, turn right into CALLE DE LE CAPUCINE, then take the fourth street on your right and then the first one left into CALLE MUAZZO, where we are (a flower shop on the corner). Each 20 minutes, there is a vaporetto (from the 09:06 am to 8:06pm). If you will arrive after that please contact us.
FROM AIRPORT:
• By public water bus “Alilaguna”. Linea Blu, every hour: 6.10, 7.10, 8.10, 8.45, 09.45, 10.45 until 20.45, and then 22.10, 23.10 the last one is at 0.10. You have to take the BLUE line and get off at Fondamenta Nuove. When there turn left along the pier, walk along the pier up to the end, turn right into CALLE DE LE CAPUCINE, then take the fourth street on your right and then the first one left into CALLE MUAZZO, where we are (a flower shop on the corner). This is cheapest solution and about 10 minutes’ walk.
Water taxi from the Railway Station (Ferrovia), Piazzale Roma or Airport:
If you decide for the taxi, you can get one from a taxi-booking service at the airport, (ask the driver to take you near Ospedale Ss. Giovanni e Paolo, on the side of Canale S. Giovanni Laterano, and leave at the foot of little bridge Ponte Muazzo).
