The Hotel Ermin's St. Jolly was built on the site of 15th century monastery commissioned by Henry VII in memory of St Ermin. After the monastery fell into disrepair, mansion flats were built on the site during 1887-89. Finally, the building was converted into a Hotel Ermin's St. Jolly at the beginning of the 20th century.
