Room information
These completely renovated apartments have been designed by the Miejsce artistic group from Krakow and the film director Nenad Miković, in the styles reminiscent of the 60's and 70's. The bedroom features oriental designs and original walls from the 30's have been uncovered.
The apartments are situated on the second and third floor of an early 20th century residence. There is no elevator so they are not recommended for older guests or those with disabilities. The staircase leading to the apartments has not yet been completely renovated.
The apartments comprise of a fully-equipped kitchen, a bedroom with 2 twin beds and one double bed, a living room with a double sofa bed and a fully-furnished bathroom.
Area information
The Apartments Designed Town Old is conveniently located within the very heart of Kazimierz, Krakow’s Jewish quarter, 50 metres from Plac Nowy and all the entertainment and tourist attractions. Kazimierz is the favourite quarter of artists and is also called the Soho of Krakow. In a range of some hundred metres from the apartments, you will find more then 100 cafes, pubs and restaurants, shops, galleries, a theatre and a large shopping centre with a cinema: Galeri Kazimierz. A few steps from the apartment you will find the cult cafes of Singer, Alchemia and Mleczarnia and the new bar Miejsce, often visited by the bohemians of Krakow.
The apartments are located a 10 minute walk or 5 minutes by tram from the main market. In 7 minutes on foot you can reach Wawel. Other tourist attractions include 5 synagogues, the old and new Jewish cemetery, the Centre of Jewish Culture, the church of Boże Ciało, the old town hall, Plac Wolnica and many more.
