From Santa Maria Novella station (800 metres):
- Walk along Via Panzani and then Via Cerretani. When you arrive at the Duomo, you will see Via Martelli on your left; Palazzo Gamba is located here.
- Alternatively, you can take a taxi to Palazzo Gamba, which takes approximately 5 minutes.
By Car:
- Take the A1 motorway and exit at Firenze Certosa (8 km).
- From here, follow the signs for Centro, then Porta Romana (the city gates).
- Enter the city gates and go straight down Via Romana, which leads into Via Maggio.
- Continue straight on, go over the bridge and continue straight to the end of Via Tornabuoni.
- At the T-junction, turn right into Via Cerretani and go straight until you see the Duomo (Cathedral) on your right.
- Follow the road around to the left (here it becomes Via Martelli).
- Palazzo Gamba is on your left at number 2.
