Residence Porta al Prato was one of the first apartment-hotels built in Florence in 1974; it is a modern 5-storey building with 3 lifts, a spacious hall and a reception. The little indoor garden, with its large trees, grants a relaxing feel to the common areas.

From the airport:
- Take the A1 highway heading south.
- After about 10 minutes, take Via Piantanida on the right, before Vialle dalla Porta Al Prato, easily distinguishable at the end of the road.
- The residence is number 16, on the left-hand side.
From the A1 highway heading north:
- Exit at Firenze Certosa.
- Continue to Porta Romana.
- Continue straight on the left-hand side of the tree-lined avenue towards Ponte alla Vittoria.
- 300 metres after crossing the bridge, turn left immediately after the gate on Vialle delle Porte Nuove.
- Turn left on the first cross street, Via Pierluigi da Palestrina; number 4C on this street is the secondary entrance of the residence, leading to the internal parking lot. The main entrance is 10 metres around the corner.
