The building was build in the 14th century, before was a convent and later became a property of the family Strozzi, afterward it was bought from the France poet Alphonse De Lamartine. Since 1950 become a hotel, with 27 en suite rooms, with halls painted in fresco. The Hotel Vasari is situated a few minutes away from the main museums of Florence.
